Plans, Architectural Drawings, Elevations and Sections of Public Buildings and Infrastructure : This series consists of plans, elevations, sections and details for the construction and maintenance of public buildings and other infrastructure by the Department of Public Works, including police stations, court houses, gaols, government offices, hospitals, schools and railways, bridges and jetties. Most early railway lines in Tasmania were built by the Department and the only surviving plans and drawings are in this series.
