History
George Clark was Government Printer at Hobart Town Van Diemen’s Land from around 1810 to 1815. He printed the first two newspapers in Van Diemen’s Land, as well as the earliest surviving book printed in the colony. Clark was one of Hobart’s very earliest convicts.
